Role Overview
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading EnergyIntel’s commercial sales function and driving revenue growth across all business lines, including solar PV systems, EV charging solutions, energy management systems, manufacturing products, and other company offerings. You will develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives, lead and develop the sales team, manage key client relationships, and ensure the effective conversion of opportunities into successful projects. This role requires a strategic, results-driven leader with strong commercial acumen, excellent people management skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships that support EnergyIntel’s continued growth in the sustainable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales plans aligned with the company’s commercial objectives, revenue targets, and growth strategy.
- Sales Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and results.
- Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance across all business lines, including solar PV systems, EV charging solutions, energy management systems, manufacturing products, and other company offerings.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and effective conversion of leads into successful projects.
- Target Achievement: Establish sales targets, monitor team performance, and implement corrective actions to ensure revenue objectives are consistently achieved or exceeded.
- Key Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with strategic clients, corporate accounts, developers, government entities, and other high-value stakeholders.
- Sales Process Optimization: Establish and continuously improve sales procedures, CRM utilization, reporting systems, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to maximize lead generation, with Technical Sales teams to ensure solution accuracy, and with Operations to align customer commitments with delivery capabilities.
- Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, emerging market segments, and strategic partnerships that support sustainable growth.
- Pricing & Commercial Negotiations: Support the development of pricing strategies and lead commercial negotiations to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, market analyses, and performance updates for senior management.
- Team Development & Recruitment: Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing sales personnel to strengthen the organization’s commercial capabilities.
