There are moments in a company’s journey that represent more than another milestone. They offer an opportunity to pause, to look back, recognise how far the journey has come and remember why it all began.
For EnergyIntel, its 20th anniversary is precisely such a moment.
To honour this journey, the company is unveiling an anniversary film dedicated not only to its history, but above all to the idea of progress: the evolution of energy, technology and the way people interact with both.
Because EnergyIntel’s story is more than a corporate journey. It is part of a much broader transformation, the transition towards a new energy world.
Since its establishment in 2006, EnergyIntel has been guided by a clear philosophy: to play an active role in reshaping the way energy is generated, stored and used. At a time when renewable energy was still at an early stage of development, the company chose to invest in innovation, research and technologies with the potential to transform the energy landscape.
Over the years, this approach has led to the development of a strong portfolio of technologies and international patents across areas including solar power, energy storage and energy systems management, actively supporting the energy transition in Cyprus and internationally.
The anniversary film does not follow the format of a conventional corporate retrospective. Instead, it tells a much broader story: the story of energy evolving alongside society.
Through imagery and authentic moments from everyday life, the film brings one central idea to the forefront: energy is not simply a resource. It is a force that shapes how we live, work and move.
At the heart of this story are people: the engineers, technicians, researchers, partners and customers who have all been part of the journey. Because behind every technology, every installation and every innovation lies the human determination to keep moving forward.
Today, EnergyIntel has evolved into a renewable energy technology company, developing solutions that range from photovoltaic systems and electric vehicle charging networks to innovative long-duration energy storage technologies. Its ambition remains unchanged: to help create an energy world in which clean energy is no longer simply an alternative, but the primary source of power.
The anniversary film is a symbolic reminder that progress never happens in a single moment. It is the result of sustained effort, creativity and collaboration.
And if EnergyIntel’s first 20 years were a journey of exploration, the years ahead are expected to bring even greater acceleration as the global energy transition continues to gain momentum.
For EnergyIntel, this anniversary is not simply a celebration of the past. It marks the beginning of the next chapter.
Because energy evolves.
And EnergyIntel evolves with it.
